Initial appointment to discuss goals.  May include part of an assessment depending on child goals.

Speech Pathology Assessment Session including feedback and summary of results.

*Exact cost to be quoted based on assessment needs of your child prior to commencing assessment.

Additional Assessment and reporting as required to guide therapy goals and measure outcomes.

A detailed assessment report (e.g. required for funding purposes)

Program reports as requested.  

Medicare rebates may be available pending referral from a GP and in accordance with GP instructions (Medicare Rebates for Speech Pathology)

SpeechTx can provide a receipt following payment to support NDIS reimbursement

Reimbursement will be determined by individual policy.  Where a claim cannot be processed in clinic, a receipt can be provided to enable family follow up.

SpeechTx offers therapy blocks to clients which means they can often not easily be replaced by other clients at short notice.  This cancellation policy has been introduced due to the impact of short-notice cancellations on staffing and operational costs. 

We understand that plans change and that children often become unwell. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 2 clear business days’ notice.

Cancellations made with less than 2 clear business days’ notice, or missed appointments, will be charged 100% of the scheduled appointment fee.   

Where possible an alternate service may be offered at the scheduled time such as a phone call check in, developing additional home practice, or completing any planned reports.

If SpeechTx needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we will provide as much notice as possible.  If a staff member becomes unwell, clients will be contacted as soon as possible.  Where appropriate, we may offer the service with a different team member.  Clients are welcome to reschedule with their original clinician if they prefer.
